The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) and the visiting Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA), observed Toombs County's softball team get by Johnson County by a tally of 13-12.

The Bulldogs (14-6) will now prepare for their bout against Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA). The Raiders go into the 1A D-I Region 3 bout with a 5-7 record.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, September 30. Johnson County will attempt to advance on its 11-9 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 10-10 record after their 14-6 league win over Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA).
