The Sequoyah Chiefs overwhelmed the host Milton Eagles softball squad by a count of 13-6 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Chiefs meet the Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA) in a 5A Region 6 challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Sequoyah will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Wolverines come into the battle with a 9-15 record after their 17-9 league win over Sprayberry (Marietta, GA).

With the loss, Milton moves to 13-9 on the season. The Eagles host St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA) to encounter the Knights in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Knights come into the test with a record of 9-7.
