The Cadets now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Duanesburg for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 1. La Salle Institute will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league win over Loudonville Christian (Loudonville, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Albany Academy falls to 1-4 on the year. The Bears host Schalmont (Schenectady, NY) to battle the Sabres in a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty match on Tuesday, October 14. The Sabres enter the match with a record of 4-3.
