Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, OR), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Sunset improves its record to 7-9 on the season. The Apollos travel to Aloha (Beaverton, OR) to face the Warriors in a 6A Metro test on Wednesday, October 1. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-14. Aloha lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Jesuit (Portland, OR)

The Beavers now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southridge for a 6A Metro challenge on Wednesday, October 1. Beaverton will meet a Skyhawks team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Westview (Portland, OR). The Skyhawks record now stands at 4-8.
