North Carolina High School Volleyball - Bunn tips Southern Nash

September 29, 2025: Bunn, NC 27508

In Monday's non-league test, the host Bunn Wildcats volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Southern Nash Firebirds.

With the win, Bunn improves its record to 13-3 on the season. The Wildcats host American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC) to face the Patriots in a Quad County 2A/3A/4A test on Wednesday, October 1. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 6-11. American Leadership Academy-Johnston lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC)

The Firebirds now own a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hunt for a Big East 5A/6A test on Tuesday, September 30. Southern Nash will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league win over Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 6-10.
