North Carolina High School Volleyball - Union Academy winner over Central Academy of Technology & Arts

Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars (Monroe, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Union Academy improves its record to 15-3 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC) to face the Knights in a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A test on Tuesday, September 30. The Knights go into the test with a record of 7-10. Gray Stone Day lost 3-0 in their recent league test against North Stanly (New London, NC)

The Cougars now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Pleasant for a Rocky River 4A/5A challenge on Monday, October 6. Central Academy of Technology & Arts will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 8-12.
