    • North Carolina High School Volleyball - Monroe overwhelmed by Central

    September 29, 2025: Monroe, NC 28112

    Central Eagles (Pageland, SC) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

    With the win, Central improves its record to 4-9 on the season. The Eagles host Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC) to face the Golden Rams in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Golden Rams go into the test with a record of 5-11. Chesterfield lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC)

    Next, the Redhawks meet the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a Rocky River 4A/5A challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-18 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Piedmont (Monroe, NC).
