North Carolina High School Volleyball - Chase over East Rutherford

September 29, 2025: Bostic, NC 28018

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) and the host East Rutherford Cavaliers (Bostic, NC), observed Chase's volleyball team top East Rutherford by a tally of 3-1.

The Trojans now have a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Lincolnton for a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 1. Chase will play a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, East Rutherford drops to 7-11 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Patton (Morganton, NC) to face the Panthers in a Western Piedmont 3A/4A game on Thursday, October 2. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 13-4. Patton won 3-0 in their recent league game against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC)
