Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Jefferson County Tigers (Fayette, MS), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Franklin County advances its record to 12-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS) to face the Blue Waves in a Class 3A Region 7 test on Tuesday, September 30. The Blue Waves go into the test with a record of 7-6. Port Gibson won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Amite County (Liberty, MS)

Next, the Tigers play the Our Lady Academy Crescents (Bay St. Louis, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Jefferson County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Crescents come into the challenge with a 36-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Gulfport (Gulfport, MS).
