North Carolina High School Volleyball - Murphy overwhelmed by Franklin

Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Franklin advances its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC) to play the Knights in a Mountain Eight 4A/5A outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Knights come into the outing with a record of 9-17. North Henderson lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hayesville (Hayesville, NC)

With the loss, Murphy drops to 8-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Andrews (Andrews, NC) to play the Wildcats in a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 9-8. Andrews won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC)
