The Lutheran Gryphons (Metairie, LA) volleyball held off the visiting Grand Isle Trojans (Grand Isle, LA), 3-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Gryphons now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to West St. John for a Division V District 8 match on Tuesday, September 30. Lutheran will battle a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA). The Rams record now stands at 1-7.
The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their match against V.B. Glencoe Charter (Franklin, LA). The Gators enter the non-league match with a 1-8 record.
