The Hancock County Indians volleyball squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Middlesboro Yellowjackets to 0 in the Indians non-league win on Monday.

Next up, the Indians confront the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals (Maryville, TN) in a A District 2 game, on Thursday, October 2. Hancock County will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Royals go into the game with a 13-14 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Oakdale (Oakdale, TN).

The Yellowjackets (4-12) will now prepare for their game against Harlan (Harlan, KY). The Green Dragons go into the District 52 outing with a 6-18 record. In their last outing, Harlan was topped by Red Bird (Beverly, KY), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
