Fans at Monday's league contest between the Southridge Spartans (Miami, FL) and the host Homestead Broncos (Homestead, FL), observed Southridge's volleyball team top Homestead by a count of 3-1.
The Spartans (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Braddock (Miami, FL). The Bulldogs go into the 6A District 16 battle with a 3-11 record.
The Broncos now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Braddock for a 6A District 16 battle on Tuesday, September 30. Homestead will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to MAST Academy (Key Biscayne, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-11.
