In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Matthews Christian Academy Colts volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks.

With the win, Matthews Christian Academy improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Colts travel to Southview Christian (Statesville, NC) to face the Conquerors in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. The Conquerors go into the test with a record of 10-2. Southview Christian won 3-1 in their recent league test against New Manna Christian (Marion, NC)

The Sharks now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abundant Life Christian Academy for a NCCSA A District 2 - West Region test on Tuesday, October 7.
