Pennfield Panthers (Battle Creek, MI) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Paw Paw Red Wolves (Paw Paw, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (14-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI). The Beavers come into the Inner State challenge with a 15-12 record. In their last challenge, Harper Creek was beaten by Northview (Grand Rapids, MI), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Red Wolves meet the Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Paw Paw will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Niles (Niles, MI).
