Virginia High School Volleyball - Poquoson over York

The Poquoson Islanders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting York Falcons to 0 in the Islanders league triumph on Monday.

The Islanders now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to New Kent for a Bay Rivers outing on Thursday, October 2. Poquoson will play a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 league win over Gloucester (Gloucester, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, York falls to 2-8 on the year. The Falcons travel to Grafton (Yorktown, VA) to confront the Clippers in a Bay Rivers game on Thursday, October 2. The Clippers enter the game with a record of 10-0. Grafton won 3-0 in their recent league game against Warhill (Williamsburg, VA)
