In Monday's league challenge, the host Westview Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Southridge Skyhawks.

The Wildcats (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountainside (Beaverton, OR). The Mavericks come into the 6A Metro challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Mountainside beat Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Skyhawks face the Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, OR) in a 6A Metro test, on Wednesday, October 1. Southridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Beavers come into the outing with a 4-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Sunset (Portland, OR).
