In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Briarcliff Bears soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Valhalla Vikings.
The Bears (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Rye Neck (Mamaroneck, NY). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Rye Neck nudged The Leffell School (Hartsdale, NY), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
