In Saturday's non-league contest, the Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) volleyball squad were winner over the host Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Pirates battle the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 6. Grants will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.
With the loss, Gallup moves to 0-2 on the year. The Bengals travel to Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM) to battle the Eagles in a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 14. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 0-1.
