In Saturday's league battle, the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Houlton Shiretowners.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Ellsworth nudged Caribou (Caribou, ME), 6-1, in a league battle.
The Shiretowners (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME). The Warriors come into the Class C - North battle with a 2-0 record.
