The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) and the visiting Liberty Christian Lions (Anderson, IN), saw Yorktown's soccer squad triumph over Liberty Christian by a count of 5-0.

The Tigers now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Jay County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 8. Yorktown will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Norwell (Ossian, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Liberty Christian drops to 2-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Anderson Prep Academy (Anderson, IN) to meet the Jets in a Pioneer test on Tuesday, September 6. The Jets come into the test with a record of 0-7. Anderson Prep Academy lost 12-0 in their recent league test against Muncie Burris (Muncie, IN)
