The Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) soccer nipped the visiting Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME), 4-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Penobscot Valley moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Howlers travel to Schenck (East Millinocket, ME) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Friday, September 9. The Wolverines enter the bout with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Pirates confront the Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) in a Class C - North bout, on Wednesday, September 7. Piscataquis will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
