St. Cecilia Bluehawks (Hastings, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays (West Point, NE), 16-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bluehawks now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Platte for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 6. St. Cecilia will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-0 league win over McCook (McCook, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Guardian Angels Central Catholic falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Pierce (Pierce, NE) to battle the Bluejays in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 6. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Pierce lost 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Centura-Central Valley (Cairo, NE)
