Texas High School Volleyball - Bowie edged by Austin

The Austin Panthers held off the host Bowie Bears volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Saturday's league test.

The Panthers now have a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harmony School of Innovation for a Texas Charter test on Tuesday, September 6. Austin will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.

The Bears (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Rockets enter the 4A Region I District 1 test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Irvin held off Harmony Science Academy (El Paso, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
