The Blackford Bruins topped the host Marion Giants volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bruins now have a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 7. Blackford will confront a Rockets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN). The Rockets record now stands at 1-7.
The Giants (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Muncie Central (Muncie, IN). The Bearcats enter the North Central test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Muncie Central gained a win over Richmond (Richmond, IN), 3-1, in a league test.
