The Fairfield Mules volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Edwards County Lions to 0 in the Mules non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mules now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond for a non-league game on Saturday, September 3. Fairfield will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Chrisman (Chrisman, IL). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.

The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Richland County (Olney, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Richland County defeated Flora (Flora, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
