Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Highlands moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bluebirds travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, KY) to clash with the Tigers in a District 36 test on Thursday, September 5. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Bellevue won 8-2 in their recent non-league test against Covington Latin (Covington, KY)

The Colonels now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Henry for a District 34 test on Wednesday, September 4. Dixie Heights will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Conner (Hebron, KY). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-4.
