Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Gibson Southern Titans (Fort Branch, IN) and the host Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN), saw Gibson Southern's soccer squad knock off Washington by a count of 3-1.

The Titans (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Patriots enter the Pocket battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Heritage Hills tipped Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Hatchets battle the Tell City Marksmen (Tell City, IN) in a Pocket battle, on Thursday, September 5. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Marksmen enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 7-1 league loss to Pike Central (Petersburg, IN).
