The Buckingham Knights edged the host Altavista Colonels volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Knights face the Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 5. Buckingham will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Raiders go into the game with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Amherst County (Amherst, VA).
The Colonels (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees go into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Brookville nudged Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
