With the win, Cape Fear advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Colts travel to Midway (Dunn, NC) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 5-0. Midway won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC)

The Falcons now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Purnell Swett for a test on Thursday, September 5. Seventy-First will face a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 3-2.
