The East Providence Townies volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting South Kingstown Rebels to 0 in the Townies non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Townies now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cranston West for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 5. East Providence will play a Falcons team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, South Kingstown drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rebels host East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to play the Avengers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. The Avengers come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
