The Greyhounds now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Wilkes for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 5. North Surry will play a Blackhawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Blackhawks record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Forbush drops to 7-1 on the year. The Falcons host Surry Central (Dobson, NC) to meet the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 5. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 6-1.
