In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Staunton Storm volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks.

The Storm (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Charlottesville got by Eastern View (Culpeper, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Streaks meet the Strasburg Rams (Strasburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 4. Harrisonburg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Sherando (Stephens City, VA).
