Next up, the Cavaliers face the Council Cobras (Council, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 4. Jenkins will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Cobras go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA).

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Lafayette (Lexington, KY). The Generals go into the non-league game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, Lafayette was edged by Henry Clay (Lexington, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
