In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Twin Valley Panthers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Richlands Blue Tornado.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Castlewood (Castlewood, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Castlewood edged Council (Council, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Tornado play the Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Richlands will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA).
