Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Louisburg Warriors (Louisburg, NC), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Excelsior Classical Academy advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Flying Lions host Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC) to clash with the Pride in a Triangle North 1A test on Friday, September 6. The Pride come into the test with a record of 6-3. Henderson Collegiate won 1-0 in their recent league test against Eno River (Hillsborough, NC)

The Warriors now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vance County for a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A test on Wednesday, September 4. Louisburg will clash with a Vipers team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Bunn (Bunn, NC). The Vipers record now stands at 5-2.
