Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the North Hardin Trojans (Radcliff, KY) and the host John Hardin Bulldogs (Elizabethtown, KY), saw North Hardin's soccer squad hold off John Hardin by a count of 2-1.

The Trojans (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY). The Bruins enter the District 17 battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Central Hardin tipped Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 5. John Hardin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 3-6 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY).
