Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Little Falls Flyers (Little Falls, MN) and the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN), saw Little Falls's soccer squad knock off Minnewaska Area by a count of 4-1.

The Flyers (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN). The Johnnies enter the Class A Section 8 battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, St. John's Prep by St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN), 7-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Lakers battle the Melrose Dutchmen (Melrose, MN) in a Class A Section 8 battle, on Thursday, September 5. Minnewaska Area will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Dutchmen enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, MN).
