Next, the Cougars face the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division I game, on Thursday, September 5. Valley View will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Buckhorns come into the test with a 0-4 record after their 6-1 league loss to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA).

The Knights now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scranton Prep for a Lackawanna - Division I test on Friday, September 6. Scranton will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-0.
