The Southmoore SaberCats triumphed over the visiting Booker T. Washington Hornets softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the SaberCats play the Moore Lions (Moore, OK) in a 6A District 1 challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Southmoore will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Washington (Washington, OK).
The Hornets (1-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Broken Arrow (Broken Arrow, OK). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record.
