The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Bulloch Academy Gators (Statesboro, GA) and the visiting David Emanuel Academy Eagles (Stillmore, GA), observed Bulloch Academy's softball team notch a victory over David Emanuel Academy by a final score of 13-1.

The Gators (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 6-3 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots (Douglas, GA) in a GIAA Class A & AA District 6 bout, on Thursday, September 5. David Emanuel Academy will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Charlton County (Folkston, GA).
