The Kell Longhorns softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Cambridge Bears to 4 in the Longhorns league win on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westminster for a 4A Region 6 battle on Thursday, September 5. Kell will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 7-6 league win over Centennial (Roswell, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Cambridge moves to 11-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA) to encounter the Titans in a 4A Region 6 battle on Thursday, September 5. The Titans come into the battle with a record of 5-9. Blessed Trinity won 10-2 in their recent non-league battle against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA)
