The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Cass Colonels (White, GA) and the visiting Southeast Whitfield County Raiders (Dalton, GA), witnessed Cass's softball team defeat Southeast Whitfield County by a margin of 14-0.

The Colonels now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hiram for a 4A Region 7 battle on Thursday, September 5. Cass will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 12-8 league loss to Cedartown (Cedartown, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Southeast Whitfield County moves to 0-13 on the season. The Raiders travel to Cartersville (Cartersville, GA) to encounter the Hurricanes in a 4A Region 7 battle on Thursday, September 5. The Hurricanes come into the battle with a record of 12-3. Cartersville lost 10-4 in their recent non-league battle against Harrison (Kennesaw, GA)
