The Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Vidalia Indians to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bryan County for a 1A D-II Region 3 battle on Thursday, September 5. Emanuel County Institute will confront a Redskins team coming off a 20-1 non-league win over Islands (Savannah, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Vidalia moves to 5-8 on the season. The Indians travel to Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 4. The Yellowjackets come into the battle with a record of 7-7. Jeff Davis won 7-3 in their recent league battle against Berrien (Nashville, GA)
