The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets overwhelmed the visiting Islands Sharks softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Yellow Jackets meet the Calvary Day Cavaliers (Savannah, GA) in a 3A Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Southeast Bulloch will attempt to upgrade on its 12-1 season record. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 9-0 league win over Liberty County (Hinesville, GA).

The Sharks (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Bryan County (Pembroke, GA). The Redskins go into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Bryan County toppled Portal (Portal, GA), 10-0, in a league challenge.
