The Trojans now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to East Wilkes for a Northwest 1A bout on Thursday, September 5. Alleghany will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 3-2 league loss to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, North Stokes drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to clash with the Granite Bears in a Northwest 1A bout on Thursday, September 5. The Granite Bears enter the game with a record of 2-5. Mount Airy won 3-0 in their recent league game against Starmount (Boonville, NC)
