Cottondale Hornets (Cottondale, FL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Altha Wildcats (Altha, FL), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Cottondale improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Hornets host Gadsden County (Havana, FL) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 0-2. Gadsden County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Community Christian (Tallahassee, FL)

The Wildcats now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sneads for a Rural - Region 2 District 3 test on Thursday, September 5. Altha will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Liberty County (Bristol, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 0-5.
