Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR) and the visiting Jessieville Lions (Jessieville, AR), observed Ashdown's volleyball team top Jessieville by a tally of 3-0.

The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Taylor (Taylor, AR). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Taylor beat Lafayette County (Stamps, AR), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Lions meet the Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs (North Little Rock, AR) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 5. Jessieville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Episcopal (Little Rock, AR).
