Nebraska High School Volleyball - Gordon-Rushville can't get by Bridgeport

Bridgeport Bulldogs (Bridgeport, NE) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Gordon-Rushville Mustangs (Gordon, NE), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Bridgeport advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Mitchell (Mitchell, NE) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-1. Mitchell lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Chadron (Chadron, NE)

The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chadron for a C1 District 12 test on Thursday, September 5. Gordon-Rushville will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-2.
