North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Mecklenburg over Butler

The East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Mecklenburg for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 5. East Mecklenburg will clash with a Sabres team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Butler drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 4. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 8-2. Cuthbertson won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC)
